Carpe Diem Music features an SSL Matrix 2 console with a number of choice outboard pieces. His workflow required flexibility for both tracking and mixing – so the patch bay design was optimized to allow flexible access to his outboard gear via the device send and device return busses while also targeting the analogue summing of the Matrix for mix down.
